Pore diameter and wall thickness of precision casting processing

Precision casting is a casting method compared with the traditional casting process. It can obtain relatively accurate shape and high casting accuracy. Precision casting manufacturers introduce a more common approach: first make the required blank electrode, and then use the electrode to corrosion mold concrete, forming a cavity. Then the wax was cast by casting method to obtain the original wax mold. Brush layers of high temperature resistant liquid sand over the wax mold.

After obtaining sufficient thickness, let dry, and then warm, so that the internal wax mold melts away, to obtain the desired blank consistent cavity. After casting molten iron in the cavity, the shell is removed after curing, and the finished product can be obtained with precision manufacturing. Precision casting, also known as investment casting, compared with other casting methods and parts forming methods, the characteristics of investment casting:

1, the casting dimension accuracy is high, the surface roughness value is fine, the casting dimension accuracy can reach 4-6 level, the surface roughness can reach 0.4-3.2μm, can greatly reduce the casting processing allowance, and can realize no allowance manufacturing, reduce the production cost. Can cast castings with complex shapes that are difficult to be processed by other methods. The size of the casting profile is from a few millimeters to thousands of millimeters, the wall thickness is 0.5mm, and the hole diameter is below 1.0mm.

2, alloy materials are not limited, such as carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, copper alloy, aluminum alloy and high temperature alloy, titanium alloy and precious metals and other materials, can be used for investment casting production. For alloy materials that are difficult to forge, weld and cut, it is especially suitable for the production of investment casting method. High production flexibility, strong adaptability, can be used for mass production, also suitable for small batch or even single production.
